In the beginning...

What to do when you start crocheting for the first time.? 

 First. -GATHER BASIC MATERIALS-

A crochet hook, my recommendation is to use a 3mm or a 4mm hook

A proper yarn 

One pair of scissors

 Second. -FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE PATTERN SYMBOLS-

 Third. -FOLLOW A BEGINNER FRIENDLY PATTERN-

By watching a youtube tutorial video or by following a written pattern
